Creating tasks is easy with the CoSchedule marketing calendar

I am regularly asked for recommendations on tools that we use at H2H Consulting that streamlines our marketing efforts for us and our clients.

Welcome to the first in our series of product reviews.

Today, we are going to review the Marketing Calendar by CoSchedule since that is the foundation of all our marketing efforts for our clients. (You can sign up for a free trial using our referral link here to check it out yourself: https://coschedule.com/r/o780945)

Feel free to watch our video review or scroll down to read some of the features that are our favorite:

Our CoSchedule Marketing Calendar is several tools all in one place:

  • Task Manager
  • Content Marketing Planner
  • Social Posting
  • Analytics

Marketing Calendar- Task Manager

First, I love it as a task manager.

Creating tasks is easy with the CoSchedule marketing calendar

I can create tasks, reminders, and projects easily inside the marketing calendar.

I can also drag and drop each task to move them from day-to-day.

The next feature of the CoSchedule Marketing Calendar that just might be my favorite is the “Ideas” section. I am able to document ideas for webinars, emails, blog posts, and more and keep them off the calendar until I am ready to schedule.

It keeps the calendar neat and clean and keeps me organized.

Have you ever had an idea, written it down, and lost the paper where you wrote it?

I am sorry to say, but I have.

We get busy and with the ideas all in one place, inside CoSchedule’s Marketing Calendar, you are sure not to lose the information you need when you need it.

Inspired by a Christmas card you received or a social post you saw?

I love using the idea feature in CoSchedule

Keep those inspirations and ideas handy in the idea section.

You can also create tasks related to that idea, add descriptions, upload files, and keep all your documents together within the project or idea.

It’s a fantastic way to organize your projects so they are ready when you are.

Social Media Scheduling

Similar to Hootsuite, Buffer, or even Constant Contact, you can schedule your social posts in the Marketing Calendar by CoSchedule.  (Click here if you want to try it for yourself.)

Upload them one by one or an entire series based on a theme or just your monthly posts.

You have the flexibility to create and manage the social posts you want when you want them to post.

Then you can analyze their performance.

Have a set of sales posts?

Post them in a Social Campaign and then see how they perform.

You can post to Facebook pages, Facebook groups, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Pinterest.

You can also connect your CoSchedule Marketing Calendar to your WordPress account and have your blogs show up inside your Marketing Calendar.

Then, you can create a series of social posts to market your blog post, and that’s after you analyze your headline.

CoSchedule can integrate into WordPress and help you write better headlines

Pretty neat.

Requeue

One feature that CoSchedule has that I have never seen anywhere else is their ReQueue tool.

Do you have some things that you could post regularly? For example, if you are a non-profit, do you want to mention Amazon Smile and encourage your followers to sign up for it?

Well, with CoSchedule you can set it and forget it.

It is a fantastic time-saver and will fill the holes in your schedule while posting it at the best time for your social media networks.

Read more about Requeue here.

Analytics

I love the analytics in CoSchedule.

Want to know your top-performing post?

How is your engagement on Facebook and Instagram?

All of these reports can be found in the Analytics section of the Marketing Calendar.

Easy to follow and run reports are available in CoSchedule
