At H2H Consulting, we believe in the power of email marketing.

That’s why we’re Constant Contact partners; to help enhance our clients’ email marketing efforts for October 2018.

Every marketer struggles from time to time with developing content that is engaging and relevant. Luckily, Constant Contact has developed a new infographic all about different topics that you can use to help create new ideas for an email newsletter or social media post.

Although it could seem early, you should start your holiday planning in October. Think about what deals you want to offer, what products are being released, and how you want to market your holiday specials. (Keep an eye out for future blogs on this.)

October 2018 features holidays like Halloween, World Food Day, Get Organized Week, and CAPS LOCK DAY. Themes for the month include Family History Month and and the beginning of Holiday Season planning.

Out team at H2H Consulting has also thought of some content ideas for you:

  • The beginning of October also marks the beginning of the fourth quarter! If your target audience tracks their quarterly or yearly metrics, share some suggestions or tips on how to have an effective fourth quarter.
  • Customer Service Week begins on October 1st and runs until Friday October 5th. Post the logo in  your store or share that you’re participating in CSW on your social media. You should be sure to thank your clients and your staff. We suggest having a staff lunch or dinner and sending hand-written thank you notes to your clients (no, handwritten notes are not passé).
  • Bosses Day falls on the 16th. Celebrate your boss by organizing an office surprise party, getting them a gift card to their favorite coffee shop, or invite the office go out for drinks after work.
  • It’s time to get spooky! Halloween is a great time to show the fun side of your business. Every Saturday, the H2H Consulting team shares some of our Halloween favorites (like candy, movies, characters, and more). If that’s not something you want to do, there are plenty of other ideas! Decorate your storefront, dress in costumes on the 31st, or offer free fall activities for families such as pumpkin carving or hayrides when they spend a certain amount at your store.

Between these ideas and the others in the Constant Contact infographic, we’re sure you can find something to share in your October 2018 emails or social media.
