November is the first official month of the 2018 holiday season and features

  • Thanksgiving,
  • Black Friday,
  • Small Business Saturday,
  • Cyber Monday, and
  • Giving Tuesday.

Each holiday requires individual planning and execution. Check out our blog for ideas on how to market for Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday.

In addition to these holidays, November 2018 also has Veterans Day, National Native American Heritage, Midterm Elections, and National Pizza Day.

The H2H Consulting team has also thought of some content ideas for you to try:

  • For National Pizza Day, take the office out for a slice or order in from your employees favorite local pizza joint. November is a great time to thank your employees, and almost everyone loves pizza!
  • Write your customers and other supporters “thank you notes” before Thanksgiving. Like we said last month, handwritten notes are not passé, and show that you were willing to take the additional time and effort to thank the people important to you, your business, and your business’ success. Receiving a handwritten note could remind your client of what you do or even inspire your clients to become more involved in your business.
  • November is National Diabetes Month and Lung Cancer Awareness Month. Raise awareness for both of these diseases by sharing links to the American Diabetes Association website and Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) Lung Cancer website, prevention information, screening information, and donation information.
  • Offer deals on November 6th for people who come in with an “I Voted” sticker. Not only does it incentivize people to come into your store, but also to get out and vote.
