That’s why we’ve partnered with Constant Contact; to help enhance our clients’ email marketing efforts for December 2018.

Content can be challenging to develop, so Constant Contact has provided their partners with an infographic all about different topics to spark your next email campaign idea. And we’re sharing their ideas with you.

December marks the end of the holiday season (and the end of the year) and features popular holidays like

  • Christmas,
  • Hanukkah,
  • Kwanzaa,
  • New Year’s Eve, and
  • The Winter Solstice.

 

Each of those holidays deserves it’s own marketing plan and content. At the very least, you should post a simple message and a picture or video on your social media.

Constant Contact will also be releasing limited time holiday- and winter-themed email templates for December 2018. Below are some templates that they have already released.

In addition to these popular holidays, November 2018 also has Festivus, National Brownie Day, and Boxing Day. Themes include National Write a Business Plan Month and Safe Toys and Gifts Month.

The H2H Consulting team has also thought of some content ideas for you to try:

  • If you haven’t watched Seinfield, you might not get the Festivus reference. Celebrated on December 23rd, it’s a holiday for everyone. Quote Seinfield on your social media and say “Happy Festivus to the rest of us!” with a picture of the your office having a Festivus party.
  • December 8th is National Brownie Day! On the day of, share your favorite family brownie recipe and invite people to try it out. A couple days later, post again and ask your followers for the results!
  • Boxing Day, traditionally a day  to give back to those who are less fortunate, could be a good opportunity for non-profits or charities to do another push for donations. Consider doing a day-of email campaign and send an email in the morning, in the afternoon, and at the end of the day. Make sure your CTA is a donate button and that your last email has the total amount raised.
